Couples | Textures and Tastes of Westside KC

I’ve loved Westside KC since a good friend of mine moved there a few years back. I’d had my eye on it for a long time shooting wise, but finding a couple to trust my vision had been difficult. I’d been stood up for a shoot there once, and other KC inspired couples had passed it up for Liberty Memorial, and the Nelson more times than I can say. Naturally, I was over the moon when I finally found the right fit.

These two were so much fun! I loved that they wanted to stop for a coffee at GoatHill, and even asked to incorporate the picturesque little houses that reside in the area. They’re getting married in only a few short weeks, so it was nice to get to know them so quickly beforehand. They were a total breeze to photograph. Hopefully come January, their wedding day will go just as smoothly.
