Rachel & Shaheen are one of those dream couples that just ‘get it.' Their planner reached out to me because they were having a hard time deciding on a photographer and wanted someone that could capture them candidly in an artistic way. When it came to their engagement session we discussed several ideas, but the one that felt most fitting was to photograph them at home with their three cats. We visited other locations during this shoot, but I'm choosing to showcase only the at home photos, as I personally felt they encapsulated them in the most effortless, authentic way. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a sucker for photographing people with their pets. I love these images because I was able to capture the way in which our pets so naturally weave themselves into our lives and everyday spaces.
