Wedding | A Moody, Floral Filled Wedding at UNION
Megan & Jake are such a cool couple! When I met them at their engagement session months prior to their wedding day I instantly liked them. They showed up with their brindle boxer, Astro, in tow and we chatted about our mutual love of National Parks and recent travels. Their wedding day wasn't much different in that regard. A deceivingly laid back day, started out with a slow afternoon of getting ready and wandering the streets of the Crossroads for portraits. We also played around in the moody light of UNION's newly remodeled speakeasy space, which produced what are easily my favorite couples portraits of 2025. Leading into the evening, the festivities picked up quickly; family portraits into cocktail hour into dinner into a massive photo relay that had us running from table to table to table. But the night was only beginning. After the reception formalities, dance party, and a fiery sparkler send off we all headed down into the speakeasy for the after party. The speakeasy was filled with red light, loud music, and Whataburger chicken biscuits for a late night treat!
